So, how do I begin a report about our family's life?
I believe we need to start at the beginning of our family.

may not be up to date on where
this Knight family came from.

I'll try to keep it short and simple.

It all started with a boy named Zachary Austin Knight,
born in Abilene, Texas on September 25th,1979
to Larry and MaryKay Knight.
God led him to a girl named Meagan Anne Gilbert,
born in Kaufman, Texas on November 21st, 1980
to Gibby and Dawna Gilbert.
They met each other in Colorado in 1997.
He ignored her until the spring of 1998,
when God sent him a wake up call in the form of
a (very rare) skiing accident
(very interesting story,
but not enough room to cover it here).
They developed a wonderful friendship through letters
(yes, the hand written kind that you put a stamp on).
And over the course of a year,
they grew to be accountability and prayer partners.
They were married
July 15th, 2000
and shared their first kiss.
Following the honeymoon they moved to
College Station, Texas where Zach finished his degree
at Texas A&M University. WHOOP!
Upon graduation in 2003 the Lord led them
to Abilene, Texas. Where they purchased their first home
and started their family,
with a yellow Lab named Sydney.
On November 30th, 2004 Meg gave birth to their first child
(at the same hospital Zach was born in),
Owen Austin Knight.
On June 12th, 2006 Meg gave birth to their second child
(once again, the same hospital Zach was born in),
Clayton Grant Knight.
They are part of the Westgate church of Christ family (westgatecofc.com).
Expecting child #3 (a.k.a. Sweet Bun in the oven) on November 30th, 2007.

And are very happily residing in their almost completely
renovated home that seems to be getting smaller
with each child that is added under it's roof.
