Starting tomorrow, September 25th, my wonderful husband will be 28 years young! I like to take the opportunity to point out to him that for 2 whole months he is 2 years older than his fabulous young bride...(he is always gracious enough to humor me).
Last Saturday night (9.22.07) we were treated by Larry and MaryKay (a.k.a. Bud & Honey) to Zach's birthday dinner, cake and presents. Zach chose the Beehive restaurant for dinner (very yummy!).
MaryKay prepared a scrumptious Red Velvet cake with Cool-whip icing for the birthday boy's dessert (Zach doesn't acknowledge there are any other flavors). Owen helped daddy blow out ALL of his candles...
The birthday boy and all three (hee! hee!) of his sons enjoyed helping their daddy devour the sweet confection (Owen and Clay first had to surrender their shirts, of course) which added to the birthday merriment.
Zach's gift this year from his parents was a gift card to Sierra Trading Post. He can always find a great deal from that company.

We hated missing the party!!! :) AND the cake! It looks so yummy...and I would vote that the boys thought it was! Such cute pictures! Miss you!
Happy Birthday, Zach. Like Meg, I'd just like to revel in the knowledge that for 4 months, you're older than me...and after that, we just wont talk age. Man, that cake sounds so good...I still remember how tasty it was at your graduation party! I hope it's a memorable year for all of you!
