Swing Time!

We have been blessed with a new (to us) swing set this summer! My friend Kelly is responsible for this immense blessing. She put us in touch with her brother who was seeking someone to haul off his family's old swing set to make room for their new larger one (his kids are a bit older than ours and in need of a greater challenge).
So, of course we are thrilled to have it and the boys both LOVE it so much!











Bud and Honey (a.k.a. Zach's parents) gave Clay a baby swing for his birthday and it is proudly hanging on our new swing set now. He thinks he is big stuff when he gets to swing alongside his "Bubba". (Thanks Bud & Honey!)

As you can see I still need to make a new cover for the "fort" area and Owen doesn't let me forget it. Every time we go by the fabric section in Wal-mart he reminds me that I need to get some fabric and put it on his fort. Oh, if only it were as easy as just sticking some fabric up there...those of you who know me well, know that the "fort" cover has to be done "just right" and that definitely depends on me finding the perfect fabric. Of course, not having the "fort" cover on has not slowed him down when it comes to playing on the swing set!
